Manual Socketing Machine with 2 Ovens for SWR PVC Pipes, Suitable for Rubber Ring Joints, With Interchangeable MS Dies
Off line, two stages pneumatic, pipe Socketing machine, with two heating & one for forming station.
The machine is equipped with interchangeable Ovens, Mandrels and Dies for 50, 63, 75, 90, 110 and 160 mm size pipes. Pipes are heated with Programmable adjustable Timers with Audio Buzzer and Visual Lamp Indication. Manual pipe rotation for Uniform Heating is recommended. Forming station is provided with basic MS water cooled external die.
Interchangeable Aluminum die inserts, mandrels for selected size are provided. Fittings are heated with programmable adjustable timers with audio buzzer and visual lamp indication. Heated Pipe is to be manually shifted from oven to the Socketing station. Actuation of Push switch ergonomically located in front of operator, Starts the Socketing cycle with clamp cylinder gripping the Pipe, through water cooled die, on which socket & rubber ring seat is to be formed. Upset cylinder gets actuated, once clamped. The compressed air is released through the mandrel to form the “Socket” and “Rubber Seat" in the Pipe. Water is continuously circulated through die to keep it cool.
On lapse of preset time, die opens. Socketed Pipe is now removed and heated Pipe from appropriate heating station is manually inserted in Socketing station. One support stand is also provided, for larger pipes. Both ovens are controlled by Solid State Devices with Auto-Tuning type of PID controllers for constant temperature operation. The entire Socketing cycle is automatic with solid state PLC controlled electrical panel with Man-Machine Interface (MMI) for all diagnostics and indications. Socketing/Cooling time along with heating time is programmable. The total production is also indicated for reference, and can be reset depending upon Shift/Weekly/Monthly basis.
